Have you experienced loss? Are you struggling in your grief? I’ve been there and I’m here for you. I’m Alma and I am a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant with over 25 years of experience and I also earned my Bachelor’s degree in Science from Philadelphia University. The day I lost my son to gun violence, my whole world changed. I created Reidentifying Normal to help others cope with their tragedy by providing a platform where we can share our experiences and receive emotional support.

I developed this Facebook page in memory of my son, Marcus L. Brown who was murdered October 6, 2008. For years I'd struggle with the question - "How do I live with a piece of my heart missing?" Let’s get through this together.
